Bravo, Baz. You're very brave to review this. Banjoukes are clangy by nature. I can hear the poor intonation. I tried a Duke 8" pot tenor, but couldn't get used to the tenor scale. My bandmates weren't crazy about the tone. I traded if off for a concert scale Good Time banjouke, and the neck was absolutely horrid, i had to have it shaved down a lot before I could play it. But my bandmates love the tone of this one. I put an aftermarket armrest on it to make it bearable. It's quite cute....getting the bridge placed right is....well...bring your lunch.

Well it sounded as if the tone on that little uke was sorely lacking - but with that poor intonation we'll never know. Truly horrid sounding on the video.
