I have a Kent baritone with a break in the heel. I'd like to repair it. Does anyone know how the neck/body joint was made and what kind of glue/adhesive might have been used ? It was made in Japan, probably in the 60-70's. Any insights would be appreciated. It has a mahogany body and neck. Aside from the heel crack, it's in decent shape. I' m afraid to tune it to pitch because of the weakened neck. Thanks in advance; hope someone out there can help.

Have a photo? If it is not a high quality/valuable instrument, there are easy, no neck removal needed fixes, depending on the actual break.
