Just putting a feeler out here before I look into sending this one to Shaun at Ukulele Friend. This was built as a tenor guitar, and has a 23" scale. The back and sides are Indian Rosewood, and the top is Sinker Redwood. It has an amazing tone, and depending on string choice, it can be smooth as silk or bold and punchy. It cost over $4K new, and would probably cost at least $5K if ordered custom built today. I'll put together a sound sample when I can find the time, in the meantime i'm attaching links for a couple of recordings it can be heard pretty clearly in. I realize there is likely a very small market for this instrument here. It's a beast in the best possible way ~

In case of any confusion above, I wanted to attach two links. Here is the 2nd one

These photos were taken by the builder around October of 2018. Happy to do zoom call with interested buyer ~ 42265912_2276625569233639_311746911235211264_n.jpg

The width at nut is 1 3/8" , the string spacing at the saddle is a little more than 1 5/8" It's very comfortable for strumming and finger picking

Thanks bsfloyd! It's definitely my type of bling; killer solid woods and tasteful appointments ~

I'm not familiar with this builder, but for those who haven't had the joy of playing a steel string tenor guitar, I highly recommend it! This one looks like a beauty, and I'd be all over it if I didn't already have more than enough tenor guitars to keep me very busy.

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks MDS725! It's easier to collect them than it is to let them go sometimes :) , I just have more instruments than I can regularly play, so I'm slowly letting some of them go to where they will be cherished and get played more often. Cheers ~

Update:

I will consider a partial trade plus cash. My interest range is very narrow. I'm primarily interested in big body nylon such as Pono Nui , or an electric baritone uke, or tenor guitar with scale between 20"- 23". Cheers ~

Thanks Cubeistan! Your name came up when I was talking to Patrick! Thanks in advance for your lead on Shipbikes.com. Going to give it a try! Cheers!

~ This uke will be heading to it's new home tomorrow ~

Thanks to UU for Marketplace, and for fixing the editing problem :) I was able edit the original post. Now i'm wondering if I can close the thread. If so, maybe someone can remind me how that works ~
