Actually I live in Altadena (LA County). I took some ukulele lessons from a couple of Hawaiian young ladies recently and had to go buy a uke right away. I got a Kala KA-TG and now I want a concert size. I'm totally hooked. This is such a great site and thanks for all the good resources, comments, opinions etc!!

Thanks for all the good welcomes! I'm looking forward to finding uke groups in my area. I mentioned in another thread that I had a nice baritone uke when I was a kid and traded it for a mediocre guitar which I later sold in a yard sale. What a bad move getting rid of that nice instrument! So I have great feelings about getting back into playing!!
