. . . anyone know if they closed down? Their web page has been taken down and the last entry on FB is from Dec 2012. Pretty sure this previously asked and not sure if there were any replies. Any info will be appreciated. Much Mahalos . . .

I never get an answer on the phone when I try to call, but did get through via email a few weeks ago where they told me there were still around but were having phone problems. They never responded to my follow up email and still don't answer the phone. Too bad, as I'd like to see how they sound on my National.

I tried, to no avail

I bought a set of baritone ( 2 wound) strings from them about a year ago. They sounded pretty good but the D string broke after about 4 or 5 hours of play. No mas.

Their storefront is still open in Boyle Heights.

Their storefront is still open in Boyle Heights.

So if we know someone in LA, or if we don't mind the price of airfare tacked on to string cost we might be able to get some? :)

So I'm going to assume you need to call them to place an order. Does anyone have their price list?
