Hello all,

Greetings from San Diego! I have found a wealth of information here and thought the least I should do is register. My mother bought me a ukulele for Christmas some years ago, and it sat until just recently when I decided to pick it up in earnest. The happy it gives me almost alleviates the pain of all the wasted years it sat in my closet. Since I have learned that ukuleles get lonely all by themselves, I began a family, buying a Makala dolphin (red sunburst, très chic) and a Kala SEM because I had a spare $100 bucks laying around (not really, but things like electricity and eating are overrated). Hope to talk to you all soon!

Mom actually dropped some scratch and got me a solid acacia Corboda concert, which sounds absolutely beautiful but I am afraid to take it out of the house. And you are right, the Aquila strings sound terrific!
