I thought this might be a fun idea. If you are not too shy to post a picture of yourself with your favorite uke it might be fun to but a face to the name. Because "one" favorite ukulele is not always the case feel free to include multiples. Say the make of ukulele the woods and why you love it.

My favorite is my LfdM tenor, spruce and Amazon rosewood. Close behind is my LfdM baritone, bearclaw spruce and bocote. Both have a very full, complex and rich guitar like tone. Both are so easy to play, all others are measured by these.

My favorite for playing out is a John S. Kinnard Tenor, Sycamore with a baked Sitka top. It sounds great with a K&K pickup and is a pleasure to play.

All eight are my favorite. Here's me with one of my first, plus each one.

Me with my K&K-equipped Kanile’a Super Concert. It has a crisp attack and a versatile timbral range to supplement its visual beauty and is my main gigging ‘ukulele.

I’ll also attach a pic from my first public performance on the Kanile’a super concert. I don’t yet have any pictures with my Kanile’a or Josh Rieck tenors; otherwise, I’d post those as well.

Here I am about a year ago with my Kala Cedar Topped Baritone. It’s the one I play all the time.

That's my Cocobolo Ukulele.
Below I'm on the right playing the same uke in an open mic. On the left is my sweetie, Tammy, playing her UBass.

That Kala Cedar is a great uke, and I believe it is under-appreciated. Great price, too.

Here is a group shot from a LFDM uke party I had a few years back. From left to right : Brenda with her then brand new LfdM, Me (Dave), Luis the master luthier of LfdM guitars and ukuleles, Robin and Simon. All the above are members here I am very fortunate to call them all personal friends and playing partners.
