I have a Mele mango concert, and I really like it. I have a few points to make.

1. AFAIK, these ukes have the components made in the Philippines but are assembled in Maui
2. The body is a little bit smaller than most concerts
3. The sounds is nice and sweet, but certainly not as loud as some
4. It feels nice to hold and play
5. The workmanship can look a bit wonky. If that sort of thing is likely to bug you, it might be best to steer clear
6. I've heard a lot of people have issues with cracking after bringing these ukes into drier climates. It was never an issue for me, but it's something to be mindful of

I own two Mele ukuleles, a Koa soprano and a Mango concert. The soprano was my first in that size, and I wanted something very traditional and made in Hawaii. The mango concert was a follow-up purchase and is one of my favorites to play. Both were purchased direct from Mele. Sound quality is very good and they have great weight and balance. Honestly, they are pretty to look at too 😉

The reason they are careful (or vague) about where they are made is that much of their wood is prepped and cut by hand in the Philippines, and then the ukes are hand assembled and finished on Maui. Hard to know which woods are from Hawaii and which from the Philippine, but all are hand cut and hand made if they are actual Mele branded. Overall they have a good build quality. Not as good as a K brand (my newest soprano by comparison) but hard to beat what you get from Mele for the money. Their set up is done well, and they do take care of you if there is an issue. Hope that helps!

I've had two of their mahogany pineapple concert ukes. The first was very good. Sold it after aquiring a custom from a local maker. Missed the Mele enough I bought another. Disappointing. Just kinda dead sounding. Tried several different string sets. Just wasn't nearly as good. Sold it.....
Try to play one before you buy it is the lesson. Inconsistent.

Are just the tenors default linear or smaller sizes too, as this is about concert and the OP picture shows what looks like low G?

Mele typically does black nut and white/bone saddle. These guys look like they do white nut and black saddle. Given that they are often sold on sets...🤔. That binding and stripey bridges/fretboards are pretty telltale also.
