Woo hoo! Should be a fun one!

Thanks for the 411, MattyDee. Question: does one buy tickets in advance for this, or at the door?

Appreciated. Would be nice to meet you and the rest of the players. Danielle Ate The Sandwich...I swear, earlier today I was listening to her "Like A King" CD.

I see some info from last year's thread:
http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/f...st-Oct-20-2012/page2&highlight=Milwaukee+Fest

Tickets should be able to be purchased in advance though I don't think they're available yet. Also available at the door.

As I have more info, I'll post it here.

The official Milwaukee Uke Fest page has been updated, and now has ticket prices and links to buy tickets in advance. Check the sidebar on the left side of the page...

looks nice.
are you doing it now?

Nope. For some reason I thought you were doing it... Is that not true?

(I have volunteered to do all the posting of notices on various websites and facebook pages, though.)

I'm planning on coming out again this year.

I dig Danielle Ate the Sandwich's music now.

The paperwork is in the mail, but myself and the Artist Rep from GHS will be out there, and will hopefully - HOPEFULLY - have the new fluoro sets to show off. I'm finalizing the packaging as we speak, and the materials are on order, so I'm keeping fingers crossed. If we don't, I'll have my ukes that are strung up with them so people can at least try them out and see what they think.

That's awesome, Monkey! Looking forward to giving those a strum!

I hope the rest of you can join us!

We should have a small handful of sets to give away (I think, we're finalizing that), but I'll have all four of our fluoro sets there on my ukes. So definitely, stop on over and strum or pick at them!

I cobbled them together myself, and we will have a very small amount of strings that we can give away (will have our nylon sets as well). Would've had a couple more, but we ended up sending some out to Eddie Vedder.

Yep, THAT one.

I can't be there for the whole day. Is it possible to just visit the vendor area without buying a workshop ticket?

We're two weeks out!

For those who are coming and have been in the last couple of years, you know that the line can get long when purchasing tickets on the day of -- and concert tickets will sell out. So do yourselves a favor and purchase your tickets early and have them wait at will call. Do it right here.

Depending on how long and when you stop by it might be possible for one of the staff/volunteers to escort you. I won't be at the front desk, so I can't promise anything, though. You might ask on our facebook page and see what Rev says.
