Monthly South Austin meeting for folks who know how to play

Dec 22, 2015
We, SAUCE (South Austin Ukulele Community & Events), are holding two monthly meetings. Because they are for different skill levels I will make two posts. The other is for those who don’t know how to play and beginners. This one is for those who know how to play.

3RD WEDNESDAYS South Austin Strum Along, ALL skills (SOME EXPERIENCE REQUIRED); it’s infectiously fun! We play along with recordings of popular music beginning with four chord songs and progress to songs in different keys with more and different chords and interesting rhythms and strumming patterns. NO BEGINNER CLASS in this meeting. If you can strum a ukulele and play four chord songs and are ready to learn more chords and rhythmic styles this is for you. If you play guitar jump in and borrow a ukulele. Only the names of the chords are different.

For the first hour We try not to leave anyone behind. Near end we usually play several challenging songs. It's a great way to boost your skills!

(Our other meeting on 1st Wednesdays is for folks who want to learn how to play.)

Recommended ages: anyone who can play ukulele! Children under 12 must be accompanied by adult.

WHEN: Third Wednesday of each month, 6 to 7:40 pm. (Jun 15, Jul 20, Aug 17, Sep 21, Oct 19, Nov 16, Dec 21)
