I bought this highly recommended Ukulele from Mim's Ukuleles in March 2019. Lightly played (mainly fingerstyle). Never gigged. Non smoking environment.

It is in excellent condition other than a repaired hairline crack in the top right bout of the soundboard (see photo). The crack was wood glued with additional wooden cleats on the underside of the soundboard either side of the cross brace for a very solid repair. The repair has had no discernable effect on the sound of this Ukulele.

I just upgraded the tuners in March from the factory friction tuners to Gotoh Planetary geared tuners. These are super smooth to use and make accurate tuning a breeze. Mim also set up the playing action nicely before I received it.

If you are not familiar with the Ohana SK38, it is an all solid Mahogany soprano size Ukulele with Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. As one of their "Vintage Line" Ohana was aiming for a retro look and to emulate the 1930's Martin Style 2 sopranos. They opted for an open grain satin finish. This is both loud and warm sounding. Sounds great strummed or played fingerstyle. I'm selling in order for the proceeds to contribute towards a much more expensive soprano I have in mind.

This Ukulele currently sells new for $219 plus tax and the tuners $74 so would cost in total around $300 inc tax. I am selling this upgraded SK38 for just $165 plus shipping (mainland USA) due to the repair.

Sorry about the orientation of the attached photos. They all uploaded as portrait but became landscape plus a couple got duplicated. Very odd.
