Are Pineapple Uke's braced similar to regular ukes? I know there's different bracing patterns for standard uke tops- just wondering if pineapple's are braced similar- or differently?

If it's soprano sized the bracing may be quite minimal, like one or two transverse braces.

I've just looked inside my favourite soprano pineapple. It is a Koa Kalane, solid acacia. There is the usual thin bridge plate, with two transverse braces on the top and two on the back, which is nicely convex.

I also have an Aiersi SU-021P - with body made from finest HPL. It is braced in exactly the same manner and sounds way better than you might expect, considering the very low purchase price. Mine was bought on AliExpress and required no set up or adjustment. I'm still using the original strings. Definitely recommended if you want to try the pineapple shape without laying out too much hard earned moolah.

Most current builders brace according to what the instrument dictates. Don't get hung up on do certain styles of Uke have certain bracing. There are the most common bracing patterns of a Fan style for all styles. Aside from that each builder either replicates the fan or some other version. Fan, Kasha, Falcete and X style. These are probably the most common.
