Prettiest Sounding Banjo I've Ever Heard

I think you can get this sound with set up. Loosen the head, bring the tailpiece up all the way, you can loosen the strings and tune to F or lower for a mellower sound. Take off your resonator. Plenty of Old Time players use Nylgut strings as well. Check out Clifton Hicks and his Minstrel Banjo.

Gold Tone High Moon

(Jump to about 8:50 to hear it...)

Designed for lower tone and longer sustain for with less "cluck" and a mellow ring. This new sound just might attract more players.

Sure makes me want one

I thought this was going to be a ukulele with a picture of a banjo on it. :p

Do you think this work with my sidekick. It's a cheapie I know but it would be fun to get that kind of sound out of it. Or close anyway.
