Here are are photos of a primavera and walnut pear shape tenor. The primavera was a veneer mill backing board 9/16" thick, hence the lamination of the neck. I used a light stain and wipe on poly finish.

Beautiful. As the owner of a Gary Gill Uke I can attest to the quality and superb sound of his Ukes

Looking good: I like the laminated neck which goes well with the binding/rosette. I see you have a side port on this one. Is this the first use of a side port and/or is it now a regular feature on your instruments?

The last six ukes have the side port. I may do some with and with out. Personally, I like the side port.
