Looks great! Reminds me of a Leopards fur...

Very cool build and great to see the process too! Almost cant believe I’m on Brad’s list! 😁

OK here are some more pictures.

When the tuners arrive in a couple of days, I will string it up, see how it sounds and make any necessary tweaks. As Rich admits to being a little rough on things, the finish will be gloss lacquer, with a clear pick guard.

This is starting to look fabulous. Reminds me of those Tkitki ukes. Definite classic Martin influence on the looks but with completely different wood.

Wow, that’s gorgeous. For some reason I thought it was going to be a tenor. Style 3 soprano is better!

I can confirm, Soprano. It would be rude not to :). I am super excited to get this with a couple of weeks or so!!!

Of course Brad, the wood selected for the body is fantastic, and for some reason, I totally love the head plate! Totally works!

Lucky me.

I couldn't be jellier. And yes, that is a word now...

Also, I only just now took a look at the fretmarkers. Phenomenal.

Playing my Brad Donaldson mahogany style 0 (signed number 440) this afternoon. It is my favorite uke I have, and makes me anxious for this gem.

Thanks Rich, as usual I strung it up a few days ago before spraying the finish. Very happy with how it sounds, I will be curious when you compare the two. The finish has been sprayed, but I want to give it plenty of time to cure before I rub it out and install the clear pick guard. Should be able to post pics in a week or so.
