Swapping out Tuning Machines

Hi all. Recently got a great little custom pineapple concert that will be a keeper. Only thing is I just hate the look of the Grover "Mickey Mouse ears" tuning machines the builder used. Yes they work nice and are not too heavy. They just don't look right in my eyes.
So, can anyone help me figure out some friction tuners that I can easily do a swap? The holes in the headstock are 11/32". Looking for something lightweight. Wanted to use some Pegheads I have but the holes are too big. I want to keep it simple if possible- no dowelling the holes, etc.

Take your pick between Gotoh Deluxe UKA's, or Grover Sta-tite 4's. Both are great tuners. Take a set to your local guitar tech/luthier and have him install them. I'm assuming when you say 11/32, (8.7mm) your talking about the barrel on top of the headstock? If so, the Gotoh barrel is 8mm. Which means your uke tech will have to coat the barrel area with a layer of CA glue to make up the space. No doweling necessary.

Yes, sort of. Turned into a weight argument, and a less than productive thread !! He is specifically asking about friction tuners, so I put in my 2 cents.
