Hi, all --
Has anyone ever heard of/does anyone know anything about Telleno ukes? A friend (undoubtedly under my influence, hah hah) found one in an antique store for $15. He said the tuners need some attention (loose), but other than that, it seemed to be in pretty good shape. I googled it and came up with multiple references to Telleno parlor guitars (mostly on eBay), and found one reference to it in a UU thread from three years ago. It looks to me like it might have been part of the Harmony instruments of the 1960's, most likely quite low-end.
Thanks for any insight anyone can provide. He's going to send me some photos, but I think it will just look like a uke made of wood with "Telleno" across the headstock - nothing very specific.
