DRY YOUR DARLIN'S EYES

PLAY ALONG

After the 4 bar into this song only uses 3 main chords: C, F and G7.
Here are some tips to play along.

1. Start after the 4 bar introduction.
2. Sometimes the chord of C7 is added just before the chord of F.
3. It is slow with 3 beats to the bar.
4. Each section (verse or chorus) begins and ends of the chord of C.
5. Listen to where the chords change.
6. Remember that when it changes you only have a choice of 2 chords. If it doesn't sound right, quickly play the other one.
7. Keep your strum really simple. Concentrate on getting the chord right.
8. Remember that a chord of G7 (V7) is usually followed by a chord of C (I).
9. Don't expect to always be correct. Just try and don't worry if you go wrong.
10 Listen with you ears rather than your eyes. Try shutting your eyes to play it.

Happy playing.
