I’ve been in turbo mode this past week working on putting together an ʻukulele event to benefit Ukraine.

Ukes For Ukraine Live Stream Fundraiser
April 9th, 2022 – 9am to 3pm/pau HST

Donations benefit World Central Kitchen’s work feeding refugees in Ukraine. They have served well over 1,000,000 meals since the invasion has started and are doing amazing work. Please see for yourself: https://wck.org/news/news-1-million-meals-served-with-chefsforukraine.

There are still a lot of things in motion and scheduling that needs to be worked out. But timing is tight and I want to try and jump on spreading the word as soon as possible.

Donations will be collected on the stream page via YouTube (100% of donations go to WCK – there are no transaction fees!). Donations are open now and will run through the end of April in case you can’t make the live stream. A replay will be available. The stream is free, but please consider donating what you can.

Yes, donations are disbursed typically within 15 days so if you donate now, the funds should get to WCK even before the stream starts. Ukraine needs all the help they can get yesterday so go to town.
