I've been given the honor of hosting an ukulele jam at the Folklife Festival in Seattle for Sunday, May 29th at 5pm! (http://www.nwfolklife.org)
It's a free event, but I am taking donations which will benefit the Melodic Caring Project (http://melodiccaring.org). MCP streams live concerts to kids and teens who are in the hospital and at home recovering from things like chemo/radiation therapy and other tough medical procedures. Think of it like music therapy, but instead of a person showing up at the hospital with an instrument, you get a whole concert that is dedicated to a kid to where they feel the love.
I'm trying to figure out what songs would be great for the ukulele jam, so please feel free to provide any suggestions!!!
