YAHLELE, I missed something or did not understand something. Why, or what is the reason the teacher set the guitar so low that it buzzed? What is the...

I wasn't clear. Fret a string between frets 2 and 3. Check the gap between fret 1 and the string. If it's more than the piece of paper the nut slot...

I think I understand. I do not fret anywhere - just slide the paper under the first fret. Yes/No? I did slide a single sheet of paper under the...

I read where people say one does not need any pressure to fret any chord. I think that is nonsense unless one tunes the string down 3 to 5 half...

Looks like I have the correct set up or very close. 12 fret measures with ruler 1/8" as close as I can tell. I fretted 3rd fret and slid a business...

I often hear it said that, maybe your action is set too high when I say I cannot do all barre chords. So I took my Kala Baritone Ukulele to a guitar...

That is exactly why I only play certain barre chords and know that there is some barre chords that I will never play. I try many different things to...

So can one play barre chords if they had no thumb on the left hand? I sort of get the idea from reading this thread that one could if they...

  1. Hi, Johnny! Thank you for asking. Yamaha makes wide range of music instruments. On the other hand, Aria makes only guitars and ukulele. If we compare them about only classical guitars, their shares are almost same and reputations are quite a same. PEPE series are made in Spain because Aria's CEO plays classical guitar and loves Spanish guitars. And PEPE is very popular here. As their scales are short, Aria distributes special strings for PEPE. PEPE strings are available in many music shops here. A friend of mine have 480mm PEPE. He use it for his go to guitar and he plays it on his couch. String tension is not strong and factory set up is perfect.

Hello zztush. Than you for the information you provided. I wanted to ask you a question but not on the open forum.

What is your personal opinion of Aria as compared to Yamaha? I know Yamaha is good but I know very little about Aria.
