That's an easy enough solution. I'm ordering some of those strings right now to see how it goes.
I do like that tuning, and I'm trying to learn...

So someone is supposed to send $1500 as a gift? What about offering the person who buys it to pay the fee? That’s a lot of money to send as a gift.

About Dionysis
- Biography:
- I'll be 60 in Feb 2020, recently mobility impaired and unable to work.
In school I played violin, was in choir and madrigals, and studied music theory. It had been years since I made music and I missed my old friend. In search of ways to make music, keep my brain active, and meet nice people I turned to the ukulele.
In my wheelchair small ukuleles are easier to tote than guitars, plus ukulele people are fun and friendly. So I chose well!
UAS hit me hard. But with few quality ukes for sale locally I started buying over the internet. I decided to buy used, so when I decided to sell I wouldn’t be out too much. Now I have too many really nice ukuleles! A nice problem to have, but hard to rectify.
I’m going to try to get down to just two or three nice tenors, a nice concert, a couple of nice sopranos, and maybe a few unusual or project ukes.
I started hosting groups in south Austin (TX) back in December 2017. Now two years later, the groups average 20+ in attendance. We have a really fun format. We start off with a crash course for true first timers. I have loaner sopranos, concerts, and tenors. After the beginner class we play along with play along videos, as pioneered by Dr Jill Reese (check out her youtube channel). This portion has two parts. The first part being easier songs for beginners, the second part being more challenging songs for established players.
The groups take a lot of time and took a long time to gain traction. If you want to join us, or to discuss how to start your own group, or share what works well in your group, hit me up, I’d love to chat!
