Thanks for getting back to me with that advice. I’ll give those Martin strings a try. It seems too good a Uke to give up on just yet.
Hi Joseph. I found a post by you today (dated from 2019) in which you said you had a Kinnard tenor which you found lacked volume. You said you changed the strings several times and eventually found a set that worked for you. I bought a used Kinnard tenor last year and have been very underwhelmed by its projection and volume. It has many other excellent qualities, but I often find myself reaching for a different Uke (eg my aNueNue Moonbird) simply because of the Kinnard
