LOL....no problem!! An HF-3 is Kamaka's tenor ukulele, 4 strings.
For me Maui no ka oi!!! (Maui is the best)
  2. To illustrate how very green I am, (read: severely uke-challenged) I don't even know what HF-3 means. Color me humilitated. I have a Pono solid Acacia tenor in Low G, which has a nice rich sound, a little Ohana mahogany concert I picked up on EBay new for only $50, and a Vineyard mahogany soprano with a full tenor neck, that I looked for for awhile, since they don't make them anymore. I have to say, I pick up the Ohana the most. I am feeling really inept, but I keep struggling along. Thanks for the email!
I haven't been to HI for years. Always loved Kauai and the Big Island best.
