That is very cool. When you describe the inside, I am curious to know what it looks like, even if I won't 100% appreciate what some of the construction details do for the instrument.

    Although, if...

Just my guess, but the first shot, the waist of the uke is sitting on his thigh, the second one has the lower bout hovering above his thigh. Just scaling them (fortunately to the same player) I'd...

Okay, since I started it, 170 days since I last got a uke.

(The collection is down by two for 2019: 4 in, 6 out, including one buy/return)

My concern wasn't with the polish, but that I'd be like Jerryc41 and buy it. I've convinced myself not to buy before I try anymore, so no Timms for me.

    TL;DR :p

PS (Post Script), "Initialism" is the term when you spell it out instead of reading it as a word. I.e (Id est), if you read the above as "Tee el; Dee Arr" instead of "Tul; Der". :rulez:

I vaguely recall being able to get the sales tax back from Washington state if you didn't live there, but that was some time ago. Not sure if it's still the case. It would really depend on the state....

I don't subscribe to the string sound settling in idea (other than stretch), I'm pretty convinced it's all in the mind. You imagine something as being too bright and your brain...

Interesting choice. I do like that one too, and the thin body kind of brings it a bit away from a concert sound towards a soprano sound (kind of). I bought one once but returned it as the spruce top...

If it's a thin wood on top of a cheaper wood, I doubt there'd be much difference. Once you start comparing one type of laminate to another, then it's not a fair comparison, but for back and sides,...

I'll be sticking with my Opio too. Although I'm a tiny bit envious that the new ones don't say "Opio", I probably won't be spending that kind of money on a uke again.
