Nice crunchy boogie blues.........
Thanks for sharing! Fun uke Blues!!
I'm sure Segovia would have pushed and finessed as much music out of an ukulele as any of the masters today if he was so inclined.
Although it does seem that Segovia had some bias against the...
I've been wearing fedoras and panama hats and others for decades, not fan of baseball style hats......indoors I do not wear a hat while playing ukulele......outdoors I will if the conditions warrant...
The experiences of one's life lead to recounting through song. You can sing this one to your grandchildren some day. :)
I like the TKL case for my Fluke. I find the case lightweight and reasonably durable. I've traveled by automobile with mine a lot but have not traveled by air with the case. The case is made to...
Hey anybody get a photo of the Kinnard Ukulele's at the event? I played the long neck soprano....oh my what a fine instrument......so far out of my league......but I would like to have a photo if...
Thanks for sharing the tune, one that I like. Looks as if your using a pick, what kind? Noticed your high's were high and our low was low on the Godin. Was that done on purpose? What kind of amp...
I voted but as I have three ukes and each is strapped differently I don't really have a preference. One I play with out a strap, one is at the heal, one is at the headstock. It's more about the...
When I was looking to upgrade from my first uke, a spruce topped Fluke, I looked at the K brands and Martin....wanted either Koa or Mahogany...liked the sound of the various K brands but didn't have...
Very nice, could have been as told from the days of old......
The HMS video sounds nice, maple and purple heart! Great combo! Really like purple heart color.
My uke playing friend in San Diego bought one. Seems to be satisfied. I have not seen or heard him play it but in discussion there was the certainly a price quality balance that he was working...
Sounds like a wonderful time! Beautiful wall of sound you have there! With stories behind ever one I'm sure.........the bliss of life.....
Well I've got the blues song worked out. Only three cords Dm Gm A7. I need to be ready to perform it by the first week of December. I'll let the other song lay for a while, it's a little more...
When I was looking it was Fishman and Roland and ZTLunchbox Acoustic and Yamaha.
I did end up with a Fishman, the Roland AC33 was a close second.
I guess I would ask what is your end...
Yep I'll be there, no it is not free but the cost is reasonable in my my opinion. Fee for the weekend gets you into all events, can do it by the day a well.

I've written two songs recently and I'm a bit clueless about putting cords with the lyrics. I can sing the songs close to the way I want them to sound but again what cords to go along??
I've got ...
For travel and workshops we have a Peak SMS 50. My wife and son use it the most for their music. I use it once in a while. It gets the job done. For home I use a table top Manhasset and we have...
Looks like it will work :)
I went with the MF strap, not a fan of velcro but once put on I have never taken it off and it does the job.
Good to see options.
I have Godin Mulituke usually play it through a Fishman Loudbox mini 60W. But when I want to have a little loud fun I play it through my son's 100w Fender with about 100 preset...
When I asked my Harley riding buddy why he bought a Magic Fluke Flea instead of some other instrument..........he said, " Because it fits in my saddle bags." :)
He tried guitar, he tried mandolin,...
I guess I would ask solid body or more traditional acoustic body with plug in? Steel string or nylon? Budget??
On the high end Godin, Pono, Risa
Solid body mid range---Magic Fluke,...
Just don't like the look and style. I know pretty shallow bias, each to their own. The color doesn't do much for me either.
I'll look forward to your review.
