    Music stands

I have a huge problem unfolding and folding the usual music stands. Maybe mine is a bad one or Iím useless at origami. And I donít want to lug around one of the sturdy but heavy ones.

Altering lyrics? Do you do it?

ďBaby itís cold outsideĒ is in the news and many other lyrics are contentious or sexist. A rousing Irish song I like goes ďsome say the devil is dead...some say he rose again and joined the British...

Its the haptic thing that I want. My ohone has a colour flashing one which is OK, but a ‘tap’ would be better.

Anyone recommend a metronome to tap my wrist in time? Phones can flash, drummers can tap, lots of other options but want this one! And some trick so it doesnt stop after 70 seconds?

Keep trying to reply but apparently I’m blacklisted (didnt think it was that daft a question!) so trying this one last time.
  11. Using iphone for video and sound possible? Mike too far away?

I was considering getting a Zoom iQ6 mike to plug into my iphone - which is on a tripod 2m away videoing me against a green screen.

Occurred to me that the mike would be too far away (because you...

Comfort edge to add to my uke

Iím not changing my wonderful Pono tenor, and I could wear a headband on my arm - but does anyone make a stick on comfort edge, and would it harm the sound?

So this is the iphone holder that sits atop a little tripod. It stretches to fit my iphone - and also fits my uke where the fretboard meets the body, so I am glancing down at the fretboard, as one...

As you know, expressing a problem itself can lead to a solution.
I find that a simple iphone holder, which fits on tripods, actually clips across my uke (a tenor) and holds it, instead of the phone....

It could be a bungee cord from the bottom of the sound hole, round the back and then into the top of the sound hole - the elasticity would hold the paper in place...somebody clever out there?
  19. Clip to hold cheat sheet on top of ukulele

I find huge difficulty remembering songs - so rather than an iPad on a stand I thought to attach a clip to my uke so that as I glance down I can see the cheat sheet along the top side, hidden from...

I hate wires, any advice on a bluetooth or wireless gadget from electric uke to amp? Mine is a RISA stick, so no preamp on board. The amp is a Roland AC33.
