  1. Song book, lyrics & chords - consistency

I dont want to claim I have invented anything new, but I have written out some standard songs for the ukulele in a way that I find useful. I know others have done the same, and probably better....

    Risa Stick for sale

Decided I wont ever be another David Gilmour. So my virtually unused Risa Stick Tenor, low G in soft case, needs a new home. Sad but it must go. I live in the UK.

It never occurred that the narrow nuts were designed for use with picks. That explains a lot. In our little town I havent been able to get to see a classical guitar, they just looked parallel sided...

Why do fretboards narrow at the nut?

I cant see a physics reason why the fretboard on virtually all stringed instruments (except possibly a classical guitar?) are narrower at the nut.
Practically you need just as much room up there for...

Pono, sadly 45mm! I think the Romero is way put of my price range too. I find switching from a 38mm uke’s 4 strings to a 45mm ukes’s 6 strings too hard for the shapes especially. Fingerpicking would...

Yes. Was musing about having notes below the Low G. So the extra Low(er) C sounding alongside with its ordinary C string mate. Might sound rubbish but was just musing. You know how I don’t like the...
