No longer available Ohana TK-42 Sinker redwood and rosewood!

That very well may be the case except the bevel on top of the saddle was facing the wrong direction. The flat side of the nut that fits against the fingerboard was turned away from the fingerboard with the bevel facing toward the fingerboard. Thanks for your observation!

    36mm replacement nut resource?

I need to replace the nut on my Ohana TK-42. I need one that's already slotted because I don't have the tools to make one from a blank. The local repair tech wants $80 to form and install one (not complaining, but don't want to put that much more into this uke). Everything I have found is 35mm...

    Is this nut on backwards?

I bought this Ohana used a couple of weeks ago. As I was stringing it with a low G, I noticed the nut. I don't know if the pictures are clear enough, but it looks like it is installed backwards because the flat side looks like it is facing the tuners instead of the finger board. It's hard to...

Those are nice ukes but the Pono nut width is a tad too narrow. I owned a nice Pono but couldn't handle the neck. Thanks for the heads-up!

I'm looking for a used solid wood tenor uke. I'm not picky on the wood combination - Spruce top, mahogany, etc., just not acacia (I have one). I prefer a bit wider nut, so 36mm or wider. Budget is in the $300 - $400 range. Inbox me if you have one to sell. Thanks! David
