    Cheri (Peter Moon Band)

Thanks, Jan! I was so glad when GarageBand was first created. It was a godsend for me since I like adding harmony to my main performance track whenever possible. :)

    Cheri (Peter Moon Band)

Thanks, AZChris! I love post-production work and adding harmony and stuff. The monstera ukulele was built by Chuck Moore. One day I sent him an email asking if I could be put on his "build list" and I was surprised to find that I didn't have to wait long! :)

    Cheri (Peter Moon Band)

Thanks, caukulele! Gosh no, this was a challenge for me, even though I simplified the opening uke solo and shortened the interlude. But I love the song a lot and gave it my best shot! :)

    Cheri (Peter Moon Band)

Thanks, ampeep! I'm glad you shared that anecdote about Peter Moon. I heard he'd been in a nursing home, and when he passed away, it seemed to have happened without much news or fanfare and tributes. I'm glad to imagine friends visiting him and playing his music for him!

Thanks, Rainbow! It's a great song, isn't it? I asked Chuck Moore to make for me a "monstera tenor." I really love monstera!

    Michelle (the Beatles)

Thanks, Jan! I totally agree about the legacy of the Beatles, and in addition to their great catalog of songs, you also have to consider all the other artists who were inspired by the Beatles, and their impact gets magnified many times over! If I could travel a couple centuries into the...

Thanks, Rainbow! You're very kind! I could never hope to come anywhere close to Paul McCartney, but I can dream! Beatles and McCartney in particular have certainly inspired my musical endeavors on YouTube! :)

Thanks, Jan! As I recorded this, one of my key thoughts was to try to make it sweet and gentle, so your comment makes me glad! :)

Here, There and Everywhere (the Beatles)

Thanks, Joe! I enjoy post-production work on videos, so I think it's something that I'll continue to do with most of my stuff. I love adding harmony and background vocals! :)

Here, There and Everywhere (the Beatles)

Thanks, EDW! And thanks for the backstory behind the writing of the song. I think McCartney and Lennon had a special cooperative/competitive dynamic going on that led to them being the most inventive songwriting team in pop music history. :)

Here, There and Everywhere (the Beatles)

Thanks, Chris! I sort of messed around with some fingerpicking to see if I could produce what I hear in that section of the song. :)

Here, There and Everywhere (the Beatles)

Thanks, Ray! Paul McCartney was at the peak of his songwriting (or one of his peaks) for the album Revolver! :)
