Default Need a luthier's opinion on removing a decal...

    Hello All,

How hard/time-consuming is it to remove a small decal from an old Martin uke? It looks like just some sort of sticker...don't know of the attachment method. To be specific it's a small decal that says 'Matt Umanov'...the guy in New York; this must've been in his shop at one time. Should I just leave it? Is it worth it to try and remove it?

    Thanks!!
How many things, how many strings does it take to make up a life? Four, apparently.

Very important - keep the sticker! Umanov is an icon and it adds a certain Kudos to your instrument.
