I've only been playing the uke for a few weeks and I was hoping to get some opinions about these two Ohana models.
I've played guitar for a long time and picked up a Ohana SK-10S because it was only $50 and gave me a chance to see if I wanted to learn the Uke or not.
Anyway now I'm a bit obsessed and already want to upgrade to a nicer sounding instrument.
I guess my question is which would be the better "go-to" uke for a beginner? The SK-35g is more traditional and I like that it's Mahogany. The SK-50WG looks nicer and is unique, but I wonder how the willow and cedar will sound over time (maybe better, maybe worse?).
Anyway I'm sure I'll buy many more models and sizes down the line but I'm looking for opinions from people who've played or own both of these instruments.
