Hi. Any melodica players out there? They sound nice with a uke. I see some posts on youtube with that combonation.

I have a cheap one (Schoenhut). They are fun but tricky to play, especially if you are asthmatic like me. Always use the hookah thing.
 
I don't play that instrument but might play with one some day. The problem is it barely costs more than a melodica to get a shoenhut celeste and that has my eye a bit more. Either way, it is a lower priority than a guitar amp for my uke. :(

Not to hijack the thread, but anyone with vids to share with a melodica?
 
I've used mine in multi-tracked videos to fill in for horns on soul stuff. Fun, but it's a little hard to make them very expressive, since you don't have much control over the shape of the sound. Or maybe that's just my lack of skill.
 
i have dabbled with one, they are great fun, but its hard to find the time when i play uke and harmonica to practice
