This is my setup for routing binding and purfling channels. It's similar to one Stewmac sells only it travels on parallel bars rather than a vertical channel. Its made of 3/4" x 1 1/2" and 3/4" square cold-rolled steel, and requires some welding, although you might be able to fabricate one using fasteners. It's adjustable for zero play in the arms and accepts Stewmac's free-hand routing guides. Multiple Dremel power heads can be set up for different channels eliminating the need for a new setup each time.
