Hi, can anyone who is a current owner or has owned this particular model Kiwaya tell me if there are any downside that I should know about this uku before I pull the pin?

Also, how do you rate this model? Tah

I've got one. It's my favorite concert-scale instrument. Beautifully built, sounds and plays great. Recommended.

I won't get a chance to play it before purchase. Infact, I have never seen a Kiwaya uku before, only relying on youtube and reviews like yours.

The down-side is it will ruin you for other instruments.

I have the KTC-2 and quite a few of their other models. I never played any of them before I bought them. I couldn't be more pleased with my Kiwayas. In my opinion, they are the best production uke.
