Pono PBE

So, there's a Pono PBE for sale locally. Can't find much online on the "PBE"—looks like an older build. Baritone, pickup, high gloss finish. Mahogany (all solid, I assume), but not light-colored like the current mahogany Ponos; instead, a dark, ribbon mahogany.

Does anyone have advice about these older ribbon mahogany Ponos in general, or the PBE in particular?

Just make sure its in good shape and good price( I got mine like 230) then you are good to go! I love mine!I find it much better looking than the current Pono MB( I like gloss, and the grain looks soo good on my PBE).
I have played both PBE and current line of Pono MBD and I like the PBE much better! Great volume and sustain. It feels so much better made than the current model! It may be due to the MBD i play is stock string (Mahana), which im never a big fan of!
