I actually live in the San Francisco Bay Area, but thought it would be cool to initiate my UU registration while still visiting the North Shore on spring break. While here, I visited the Ukulele Site store three times, and ended up walking out yesterday with a Blackbird Clara. I played ukes costing up to $3500 that did not sound better, in my opinion. I just kept coming back to the little pineapple-shaped Clara.
I am a 45-year guitar player, and have dabbled with ukes off an on. I am looking forward to participating on this forum and using the tremendous resources here to build my uke knowledge and chops.
