seasonistas play other instruments

I have been neglecting the Uke of late, I must confess. Have been learning the piano since April. I’m learning to play accompaniment as much as anything, but I like a bit of Baroque too, so here it is. The keyboard is a Roland FP-10 by the way.

Can't do dropbox, but I left a comment at the Toob. Cheers.

Here's a tune played on guitar by my buddy Al Kirby and me (Kirby & Yates)
I found it on the Trent University Radio site. They had downloaded our CD, but our source should be Mississippi John Hurt (not Hart)
We are both playing finger-style guitar, but I use my thumb and two fingers, while Al uses a flat pick and two fingers.

Here's a banjo duet with Al playing Scruggs style and me playing clawhammer. My buddy, the late Zeke Mazurek added a fiddle verse.

Ahoy
I was working on season 445 and thought that there is an animated song I can play, just not on an ukulele

As some of you will be aware, I took a few weeks away from the Seasons recently, and in that time I did some keyboard/synth covers of a few of my favourite songs written by other Seasonistas. My thanks to Joo, Jon and Bob for giving me a free rein with their brilliant songs. Here they are:

An original synth instrumental by me. Headphones recommended! :)

Christmas Day in the Morning
A set of traditional tunes on descant recorder. The tunes are listed in the YT description. Shruti Box drone accompaniment

Here's a track from a Kirby & Yates CD from 2005.
Sittin' In The Kitchen K&Y.jpg
The tune, Honeymoon Waltz, was learned from a Don Messer record.
I am playing guitar and mandolin, Al Kirby is playing banjo and the late Zeke Mazurek is on fiddle.

Another track from the same CD. This is a waltz that I wrote for Maggie 25 years ago on our 10th anniversary. I'm playing guitar, mandolin and English concertina. Here's Maggie's Anniversary Waltz.

And a bit of banjo. Al is playing 3 finger Scruggs style and I am playing clawhammer banjo. Zeke joins us for a round too. Here's When You And I Were Young Maggie.

I just found this video of me playing the Autoharp at Lang Pioneer Village. I hope you can watch it without joining Facebook.

like the silent "F" in "tier 4 covid christmas"
what's that?
there's no "F" in "tier 4 covid christmas"?

One of my original tunes. Low D whistle, bass and contrabass recorders.
With some pictures of the moors in the song title.
