Intonation flat on one string moving up the fretboard

The bridge will be slotted before its glued on to the top so technically the saddle has been placed a mm or so long. Lots of things going on here. I have seen a lot of saddle compensation work out, when the nut, also effectively had compensation as well. The nut was placed in such a way that the intonation was going sharp, the saddle was placed in such a way to cause the intonation to go flat and they cancelled each other out.

Put the saddle back on, string it up and let the strings settle. If its still just the high string thats going flat and the others are fine then its just the saddle contact point that you need to work on.

Thanks Vinnie, I was thinking the same thing. I still hope that I can fix this with only a regular, straight saddle and some different strings...
