A couple of days ago we had a boil order for our water. It lasted about 24 hours. I read bring the water to a boil for 30 minutes. So that's what I did.
Shirley said she read 3 minutes at a boil. I reread it and she was right.
30 minutes seems excessive and 3 doesn't seem to be enough? I thought I read 20 minutes somewhere?

They said they had a water main break. And any time the pressure drops below a certain point, as a precaution, they send out the notice.
