    Default 50 b'day. Ko'olau just arrived!

So my wife decided that I should have something special for my 50th birthday and let me order a new ukulele. I always wanted an island made all koa tenor. I just received my new Ko'olau T100 all koa tenor uke! She (my wife) is awesome! The uke too!

I am loving this beautiful ukulele! So well balanced in tone! The guys at Ukulele PuaPua hooked me up! No pressure just made sure I understood the differences of this ukulele compared to others and made sure I knew what I wanted. They sent me a recording to be sure and then the deal was done! They included an extra G string, both low and high! The titanium strings really bring out the tone! They did a complete setup and they also threw in a few touristee trinkets too. Nice touch.

I am on cloud nine! Now even my 18 year old daughter has gotten the bug. She is wanting me to show her chords and songs. So I guess I will have to learn some more to show her. Yes I am a ukulele dad!

Here are some pics! Smiling big in cajun country! Mahalo!

Very nice and special gift for a milestone birthday. I suggest you start planning what to do for your wife's next special day! ;-)
