My final and just in time submission...

This is me and my family members doing "House of the Rising Sun". It was covered by The Animals, Bob Dylan and many others. Ours is a take on the Gregory Isaacs a.k.a. Cool Ruler version. Big mahalos to my Bruddah Kaleo for getting this ready...this was a family affair:

Thanks and Praise

This is our first ever music video and I must say I really enjoyed doing it.

Our entry is a cover of the Bob Marley classic "High Tide or Low Tide" which is ultimately about giving thanks and praise to The Almighty.

I want to thank Ukulele Underground and Mainland Ukes for getting me to listen to all of my old reggae cds and helping me rediscover my love for reggae music. Jah.

Also, many thanks to my beautiful wife, my youngest son and my daughter who sang back up vocals.

Special thanks to my son Jordan who was our producer and director. He also played the drums and sang back up vocals. If anyone deserves this uke, its him.

Most of all, I want to give thanks and praise to the Lord.

Well... I feel like a total noob. I thought I was being totally clever covering this song! Your version definitely brought a smile to my face, though. So I count it all as a plus. :)

Anyway, mine's a little different. I've incorporated a little bit of "One Love" into my version... I'm not quite sure which category this fits into, but here it is! My first entry to this contest (and my ukulele-playing video debut):

Oh man. Layering "One Love" in there was just brilliant. Ain't nothing noob about that.

Lot of good entries! Thanks for your participation everyone! Now the deliberation begins!
