8 String Pono or Kala

Hi all! My first post, and it's a question. I have 4 string ukes, and would like an 8 string. I have it narrowed down to a Kala KA-ASAC-T8, solid acacia, or a Pono MGT8, solid mango. Both are about $440. I can't play them in my city, so any thoughts, feelings or suggestions are welcome!

Try the both - as much as I like the quality of Kala these days, I personally think that all Ponos are a step above most Kalas
