To be honest - with banjos I never quite get the scale thing. Not sure what advantages a tenor would really bring to this - it's already got 17 frets which is fine for most people.
 
Quite liked the review, as always. :) I, too, am curious about the tenor version, though you make a good point. I actually hadn't been aware that the Deering banjo-ukes are available in Europe at all (without self-importing), so this is interesting news. Less expensive than I expected, too.

Nice review. I have one of these and really enjoy it. I'm mainly a mandolin player, so I strung mine with the Aquila CGDA set; it gives me mandola range with easy playing.
