I finished this ukulele yesterday:

Some technical details:
top: spruce
back, sides: curly maple
neck: mahogany
fingerboard (elevated), bridge: ebony
slotted headstock
tuners: Waverly
finish: french polish

Yes sweet looking. I like the thin purfling which makes the whole construction look light and delicate. Lesson there somewhere. Hmmmm...Nice design... Great job!
 
Beautiful job. I'm a sucker for curly maple. I'm thinking of having a bass uke made with it that I designed. It's as if you were looking over my shoulder the other night when I couldn't sleep and guided me when I stayed up most of the night doing this. I want ebony too, how did you get the neck, fretboard and bridge so dark?

@kohanmike: I used shellac and black dry pigment for the neck. Rather time-consuming.
