FWIW, he can't be talking about the same brand if the butt fugly ones are in the same price range as K-brands. The C.U. models are getting more expensive but you'd still be hard pressed to spec one out at half the cost of a K-brand.

Right, and Nickie is talking about Cocobolo Ukuleles that run about $400-600 now. I agree that if I had $1300-1500, I'd be looking at K-brands or customs.
People do not seem to be comfortable expressing all views on this brand, presumably due to past threats of litigation. I'm not prepared to allow posts that seem (to me) to be little more than transparent promo when opposing views may not be freely shared. It is unfair to other builders.
