Default Quilted Maple and Mahogany Concert

This latest commission was for a bloke in Sydney who's wife said he should get a special instrument for his 50th birthday in late May. I slipped into my last build schedule in order to finish it in time.

    Specs......
    Quilted Maple and Brazilian Mahogany.
    Curly Gidgee bindings
Indian Rosewood fret board with 12" - 16" compound radius and his initials at the 12th
    York Gum burl fret markers
    MISI acoustic trio pickup
High Gloss lacquer finish with Worth Brown strings.

' .....he should get a special instrument for his 50th birthday...' I reckon he got it.

Another beautiful instrument with an interesting choice of timber, quilted maple and mahogany soundboard. I wish someone would buy me one!

No. I never stain or tint the Color of the timbers I use. Just pore filled with epoxy and high gloss lacquer finish.
