Hello :)

just got myself my first uke for my 22nd birthday
it is an Alvarez RU-22 Baritone (pic below).
I'm really happy with it but i have a question:
Does anyone make all wound strings for bari ? (or at least B and E ?)
i'm not big fan of pure nylon strings.

im sorry for any mistakes, i rarely use english these days

cheers :>

I use Living Water Flourocarbon strings on my baritone - like you I am not a fan of nylon strings, (but I also dislike wound strings). :)

Enjoy your new uke. :D

What is it about nylon you don't like and what do you want to achieve?

Baritone strings are normally wound D and G and plain B and E.

There are Aquita Nylgut strings or Fluro-carbon strings to try.

South Coast make an all metal set of strings called HML-CM. The CM stands for classic metal and can be used on tenor or baritone ukulele.
