    Default Knarly Ukulele

    Below is a picture of an uke from the Reno, Nevada Ukulele Festival. I really like the design. Very Nevada. Very nice work. Gotta love the use of the spalted wood. Check out the peghead. I think that is a gold nugget embedded... Yeah, but how does it sound? I'll bet it sounds awesome. Luthier unknown. Who ever it is, they do some nice work.

    Correct it is; a Tyde. Definitly nice stuff. Picture below of a peghead. I would have never thought of that... Certainly does away with pore filling chores.
