Wow, very cool! I've never seen a cone like that.
That's very nice, what scale is it? I've been toying with the idea of a resonator bass uke. Not sure if it's even a good idea, but I did a mockup of one. Would you be interested in enlarging your design to a 22" scale bass uke and adding a pickup and preamp?

Hey Mike,
I don't know how low tension rubber strings will do on a resonator cone.
I built mine in a tenor scale to get a higher tension on the strings.
Keep in mind I'm an amateur builder, this is my first resonator and it's all a one great big experiment for me.
